Niseko holidays
Set on the slopes of an extinct volcano, Niseko is the biggest and best resort in Western Hokkaido with 48km of piste plus an incredible 30sq. km of gate controlled back country to explore! Receiving over 30 metres of the most incredible, soft, fluffy powder snow on average every winter Niseko offers fantastic powder skiing and boarding on its un-crowded slopes and fantastic views of iconic Mt. Yotei.
Amazingly the resort does not have one single snow canon and even down to the coast there is snow throughout the winter. Pistes radiate around the peak of Mt. An'nupuri are divided into four interconnected areas known as Niseko United. These three areas offer three base villages, offering a wide range of runs for all levels and over 1,000m of vertical drop and an interconnected bus service.
The area is rich in hot springs with several beautiful, natural onsen to visit. There is also night skiing and Niseko Village offers cross-country and snowshoeing trails. Day trips can also be arranged to the city of Sapporo, home to an amazing Ice Festival in February, Winter Sports Museum, fish market, and historic shrines and temples.
