Escorted
The Borneo Adventure tour is accompanied from arrival in Kuching on Day 5 through to departure from Kota Kinabalu Day 12 by a local tour guide. Extensions to the main tour are on unescorted basis, however assistance will be available from our local representative throughout.

Day 1 Tue London/Kuala Lumpur/Singapore
Malaysia Airlines from Heathrow to Singapore via Kuala Lumpur arriving the next day.
Day 2 Wed to Day 4 Fri - Singapore
Arrive in Singapore on Wednesday and transfer to the first class Carlton hotel. Explore the ‘Garden City’.
Day 5 Sat Singapore/Kuching
Fly to the beautiful city of Kuching, in the East Malaysian state of Sarawak, legendary land of the Hornbill and Headhunter. Transfer to the Holiday Inn, on the banks of the Sarawak River.
Day 6 Sun Borneo
This morning, travel through paddy fields, rubber plantations and tiny villages into the rain forest. After lunch, board a long tailboat up river to the tribal village where you will spend the night in a longhouse. Facilities are very basic here as accommodation is in a simple Tribal Longhouse on stilts with dormitory style facilities – but it’s a small price to pay for this unique experience. After the villagers have proudly performed the Iban dance enjoy dinner and entertainment at the jungle village. (B,L,D)
Day 7 Mon Borneo
Rise early and have breakfast in the longhouse before returning down river and travelling on to the Damai Beach Resort overlooking the South China Sea. Dramatically set on a beautiful sandy bay with Mount Santubong providing a majestic backdrop, the hotel has excellent bars, restaurants, sports and watersports facilities. (B,L)
Day 8 Tue Borneo
Relax on the beach, play golf, explore the surrounding jungle or visit the adjacent Cultural Village. (B)
Day 9 Wed Borneo/Sabah
Today fly to the state of Sabah and the beautiful Shangri-La Rasa Ria Resort (SUP) for three nights. (B)
Day 10 Thu to Day 11 Fri Sabah
Three days to enjoy this excellent hotel and sample some of the many excursions. If you wish you may extend your stay here – simply add the price of the extra nights at Rasa Ria
Day 12 Sat Sabah/Kuala Lumpur
Fly to Malaysia’s capital and the Dorsett Regency for two days to explore Kuala Lumpur.
Day 14 Mon Kuala Lumpur
Malaysia Airlines flight arriving Heathrow later the same day.
