Day 1 Thu London/Singapore/Bali
Fly Qantas from Heathrow via Singapore to Bali.
Day 13 Tue Bali Beach/Singapore/London
Depart today on your Qantas flight via Singapore to Heathrow arriving the next day. Alternatively, you may extend your stay in Bali or choose to stopover in Singapore on your return.
Day 7 Wed Bali Experience
After breakfast see a Barong dance at Batu Bulan Village, visit Bali Bird Park and Celuk Village for silver works. See the Mas Village which is a woodcarving centre. A wonderful tour of Ubud Village, then lunch on your own in one of Ubud's many restaurants. Afternoon at leisure. (B)
Day 2 Fri to Day 3 Sat Bali
Relax at the Mercure Bali (medium class option) or Puri Santrian (first class option) for two nights.
Day 4 Sun to Day 5 Mon Bali/Bali Experience
Travel from your hotel through spectacular scenery on the way to Ulundanu Temple on the shores of Lake Bratan, then continue to the colourful Candikuning market and botanical gardens. See countryside, terraced rice fields and plantations on the way to your choice of medium or first class accommodation at Lovina on the north shores of this paradise island. Your next day is at leisure to explore or relax in your surroundings (approx. 60 miles) (B)
Day 6 Tue Bali Experience
The highlight today is Kintamani village perched dramatically on top of the crater rim, Mount Batur. From here see the magnificent view of the crater, lake and the volcano peaks. On the way to the volcano visit holy spring water temple at Sebatu village. Drive on to the cultural centre of Ubud famous for its paintings. Two nights at your choice of first or medium class accommodation. (approx. 68 miles) (B).
Day 8 Thu Bali Experience
See the huge temple of Besakih, over 1000 years old and on the highest mountain of Bali, Mount Agung. On the way visit the Elephant Cave, the ancient hertiage of the Hindu and Buddhist priest. Pass through Salak plantations and ancient village of Tenganan in the east of Bali once damaged by lava flows during the violent eruption of Mount Agung. Overnight at your choice of first or medium class accommodation in Candidasa (approx 75 miles) (B).
Day 9 Fri Bali Experience/Bali Beach
Morning at leisure before driving to your chosen beach hotel. En route visit, the bat cave temple and Kertagosa, an old court of justice. Spend the next four nights relaxing after your tour.
