Davos
Davos provides some of the very best skiing in the world with a fine lift system, reliable snow conditions and a host of après ski facilities. Davos not only offers superb skiing but also fantastic sports facilities, excellent shopping and good nightlife. Davos is split into two: Platz and Dorf, each one with its own rail station. The skiing is extensive and very good for intermediate and advanced skiers; whatever the time of year, at least one of the five ski areas should have good snow. There are numerous good mountain restaurants. Davos has Europe’s largest natural ice rink, a superb toboggan run, indoor tennis and squash courts, indoor pool, horse riding and sleigh rides. For walkers there are about 50 miles of cleared paths. The ski bus is also free to all non-skiing Davos guests.
