- The Shroud is the most famous holy relic, kept in Turin’s Duomo, said to be the winding sheet in which the body of Christ was wrapped after his crucifixion.
- Palazzo Madama, on Turin’s main square, is a classical building which once contained the original ancient Roman city walls.
- The Duomo in Piazza Sant Giovanni, the cathedral built in 1497 is a fine example of Renaissance architecture. The magnificent 19th century tower, Mole Antoneliana dominates Turin.
- There is also an interesting collection of motoring memorabilia in the museum dell’Automobile which contains the famous Bugatti, Maseratis, Lancias, Fiat and additional foreign cars.
