Escorted
Discover Cuba tour is accompanied from day 2 in Havana right through to day 7 by a local tour guide. Extensions to the main tour in Varadero are on an unescorted basis, however assistance will be available from our local representative.

Day 1 London/Havana
Virgin Atlantic flight from Gatwick to Havana. Transfer to the Tryp Habana Libre hotel.
Day 2 Havana
Visit El Morro Castle for superb views of the city. Explore the old part of the city on foot to enjoy the history and feel the atmosphere of a bygone era. Visit the Captain General’s Palace, now home to the City Museum and the Havana Club Rum Museum. Continue through the old streets of Havana before enjoying lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon visit the modern part of Havana to see Revolution Square and the imposing Capitol Building B,L.
Day 3 Havana
Start your morning with a visit to a cigar factory. After lunch visit a revolutionary museum (showing the interesting history of Cuba). Time at leisure to explore Havana B,L.
Day 4 Havana/Cienfuegos
Leave Havana and drive to Cienfuegos for a city tour including a visit to the Tomas Terry Theatre. Enjoy a boat trip through the beautiful bay of Cienfuegos. Lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight in Cienfuegos (approx. 77 miles) B,L,D.
Day 5 Cienfuegos/Sancti Spiritus
Drive to the delightful colonial city of Trinidad to see some of Trinidad’s heritage buildings and cobbled streets. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon take a drive with spectacular views across the valley to Rancho Hatuey, near Sancti Spiritus, where you will stay overnight (approx. 44 miles) B,L,D.
Day 6 Sancti Spiritus/Santa Clara
Drive to Sancti Spiritus for a short city tour. Continue to Santa Clara for one night at La Granjita hotel (approx. 52 miles) B,L,D.
Day 7 Santa Clara/Havana
Return to Havana for your last night at Tryp Habana Libre hotel, or choose alternative hotel in Havana (approx. 180 miles) B.
Day 8 Havana/London
Virgin Atlantic flight to Gatwick arriving the next day or alternatively extend your holiday in Varadero B.
Varadero Extension
Day 15 Thu or Day 22 Varadero/Havana/London
Transfer by road to Havana (approx. 100 miles) for your Virgin Atlantic flight to Gatwick, arriving the next day.
Day 7 Havana/Varadero
Transfer to Varadero (approx. 2½ hours or 100 miles) for eight nights or more, at the Blau Varadero on All Inclusive basis (or your chosen Varadero hotel).
