There is little variation in the temperature throughout the year. You can count on averages of 33-35deg.C (91-95deg.F) during the day, with nights seldom cooler than 18deg.C (64deg.F). The trade winds temper the heat in coastal regions. From November to April, rainfall is at its lowest, though at all times showers tend to exhaust themselves fairly quickly. Hurricanes occur mostly between mid-July and mid-October. Water temperature averages 29deg.C (84deg.F) and never goes below 25deg.C (77deg.F). |
