Music lovers planning to go on luxury holidays to Oman may be excited to hear that the Hot Club of Cowtown, the Austin-based musical trio, will perform two free-admission concerts in the Sultanate this month.
The concerts, which will be organised by the Embassy of the United States of America as part of its Public Affairs Section's cultural programming, will be the American band's first performance in the Middle East.
On July 23, the band, which feature a combination of hot jazz and Big Band country music, will perform at the Salalah Tourism Festival in the city.
The second show will be held at the Al Bustan Palace, A Ritz-Carlton Hotel, in Muscat on July 24.
The band has already held concerts in the US, the UK, Australia and Azerbaijan.
Since its first recording in 1998, the Hot Club of Cowtown has produced 10 studio albums.
