Some TV programmes and films aired during this festive season are set to spark the interest of Britons to take USA holidays, according to a travel organisation.
Abta has revealed that documentary series, entitled Earth Flight, is expected to boost tourism to North America.
The TV series explores the airborne journeys of snow geese from the Gulf of Mexico to the Arctic.
Another such programme likely to appeal and influence travellers to go to the US is Three Men Go To New England.
It is the seventh boat-based outing for Rory McGrath, Griff Rhys Jones and Dara O'Briain, who start their voyage in the cradle of American history, New England.
As not everyone wants to track snow geese across the Gulf of Mexico, arranging a twin centre holidays may be a good option.
Abta head of communications Victoria Bacon said: "Film and television programmes have a huge influence on British holidaymakers' travel plans."
She added: "It is clear destinations benefit enormously when used as film locations, which is why many are delighted to be chosen."
