Egypt will bounce back from the ills it has been facing and emerge once again as an ideal destination for tourists, according to an expert.
Graham Cooke, president and founder of the World Travel Awards, said that more travellers will book for Egypt holidays soon because of its magnificent range of attractions and landmarks.
Egypt is set to host the awards ceremony later this year.
The prestigious World Travel Awards are often dubbed as the Oscars of the travel industry.
Mr Cooke said: "Egypt is a remarkably resilient destination, boasting an incredible array of attractions from the Pyramids of Giza and the temples of Luxor to the spectacular diving of the Red Sea."
UNTWO secretary-general Taleb Rifai recently hailed the choice of Egypt as the host for the 2011 World Travel Awards and said it was a fitting recognition of its distinction as a popular holiday hotspot.
