Dubai could be the ideal destination for shopping enthusiasts planning
luxury holidays this month as they might be one of the 40 lucky prize
winners in the 'Shop and Win' extravaganza, organised by the Dubai
Shopping Malls Group (DSMG).
The 'Shop and Win' promotion, launched by the DSMG and Dubai Events and
Promotions Establishment to mark the UAE's 40th National Day
celebrations, is expected to make Dubai holidays more popular.
Those who shop in participating shopping malls in Dubai are required to
fill in a raffle coupon, and winners will be selected through four draws
that are to be held on November 6, 17, 24 and December 2.
Both cash prizes and gift vouchers from Rivoli outlets will be offered
to the winners.
Majid Al Ghurair, chairman of the DSMG, said: "When our wise rulers came
together to establish the United Arab Emirates as one nation 40 years
ago, they visualised trade and retail as major engines of growth.
"The truth of this vision has been proved in the last four decades with
the retail sector one of the strongest pillars of the country's economy
today."
