Fans of Audrey Hepburn who are taking Italy holidays may be excited to hear that the Ara Pacis museum in Rome is hosting an exhibition featuring dresses, photos and videos of the Hollywood icon.
The "Audrey in Rome" exhibition began on October 26 and will run until
December 4, making the city an attractive destination for tourists
planning luxury holidays in Italy.
A portion of the money raised from the exhibition will be donated to the
United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
Highlights of the exhibition include the famous green Vespa scooter
which was used by Hepburn and Gregory Peck in Roman Holiday, her
oversized sunglasses and scarves.
Some 150 photographs that are on display at the exhibition capture
Hepburn during her everyday life in Rome, where she spent time as an
actress, wife and mother.
Hepburn devoted the later years of her life to serving as a UNICEF
goodwill ambassador.
