A Russian ice theatre group featuring a fine company of professional skaters is making its first Caribbean tour in Antigua & Barbuda.
Moscow Stars on Ice will warm the hearts of audiences with spectacular performances by 20 skaters including several Olympic, World, European and Russian figure skating champions.
Figure skating fans taking luxury holidays can visit the Caribbean and attend the ice show, that will begin on August 9 in Antigua & Barbuda.
The group's selection has over 150 acts including Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Tango, Swan Lake, Mowgli and many others.
Out of the wide repertoire some of the acts are scheduled to be performed in the two-night production at the Dean Williams Lake Cultural centre.
The group will also visit other islands such as Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, St Kitts & Nevis, St Vincent, Jamaica, Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire, Martinique and Guadeloupe. They will also be accompanied by a support team to construct a platform of real ice on the stage using special equipment.
Touring the world since 1986, the Moscow Stars on Ice has recently celebrated its 25th anniversary.
Oksana Kordiyaks, a Ukraine-born star figure skater, said: "It is a company that travels the world and the Caribbean cannot be the exception."
Tickets to the show will cost between US $30 (£18.62) and US $50 (£31).
