The Maldives may be the perfect destination for people who are looking for luxury holidays and want to relax and spend some quality time with family or friends.
Danish actress Brigitte Nielsen said the island nation in the Indian Ocean is one of her favourite holiday spots.
The 47-year-old reality TV personality particularly likes the island of Huvafen Fushi. Describing the place as spectacular, Nielsen said she goes there every year.
In an interview with the Telegraph, she added: "It's all about getting accustomed to yourself and it takes probably three or four days to unwind. Then it becomes beautiful and you don't want to leave. It's a great experience. I find it really soothing."
Talking about boutique hotels, the former wife of Sylvester Stallone said the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles is the best.
Although the hotel is "super-expensive", the actress said it is laid-back and described it as a place where she has "the time of her life".
Launched in the year 1912, the Beverly Hills Hotel is located on Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills, California.
