The Maldives Marketing and PR Corporation (MMPRC) has announced the
adoption of a new tourism slogan and logo to encourage more people from
different parts of the world to take Maldives holidays.
The new slogan, 'Maldives - Always Natural', and the logo that will
accompany it were selected following a year-long consultation and design
process, which involved the government, tourism industry stakeholders
and the public.
The latest promotional tools are expected to make the island nation's
natural attractions more popular among people planning tailor made
holidays in the Maldives.
Simon Hawkins, managing director of the MMPRC, said: "The previous
slogan was over 11 years old and we believe the new slogan and logo
better represents the Maldives of today, as well as tomorrow."
