The vast array of wildlife has always been one of the biggest attractions for people seeking Kenya holidays.
And those planning to head off to the African country in the coming months will have a plethora of intriguing events to choose from.
The annual calendar is full of interesting traditions, sports and festivals, according to Angie Sloan, director of Kenya Tourist Board in the UK and Ireland.
The Rift Valley Festival, the Safaricom marathon and half marathon, and the Kenyan Open Golf Championship are some of the forthcoming events that might attract holidaymakers in big numbers.
Among these, the Rift Valley Festival is a celebration of Kenya's rich traditions of arts and culture.
"Visitors watch in awe as the river banks swell and burst with wildebeest as they storm down the river bank to reach the green grass on the other side," said Ms Sloan.
