If you are thinking about where you and your partner should spend your
honeymoon, former prime minister Tony Blair has revealed that he spent
his in Thailand and is a big fan of the golden land.
Britons jetting off for Thailand holidays right now, could bump into the man himself,
who is currently revisiting the city.
As part of a scheme that encourages Thai children to speak English,
Blair stepped into the role of language teacher and spent the afternoon
in the classroom.
When a youngster asked him if he liked Thailand, he spoke of fond
memories from his time spent in the country with wife Cherie.
The 2012 English Speaking Year was created by the Thai Education
Ministry, and encourages children to spend one day a week speaking the
language.
