Tourists going on Italy holidays may be interested in attending the Milan Fashion Week, which began with a dazzling catwalk showcasing fashion giant Gucci's collection referencing its 1920s origins.
The firm's creative director Frida Giannini presented an amazing collection that had strong elements of Art Deco running through it, including fringed flapper dresses dripping with gold sequins.
Vogue Italia and UN Goodwill Ambassador Franca Sozzani, former French Vogue Editor Carine Roitfeld, PPR boss Francois-Henri Pinault, Anna Dello Russo, John Legend and Chinese actress Yang Mi were among the celebrities who attended the fashion show.
Giorgio Armani, Missoni and Roberto Cavalli are among the fashion labels that will showcase their collection at the six-day event.
If fashion only takes the fancy of one traveller in your group, why not combine it with another destination in a twin centre holidays option.
