Families planning USA holidays may be interested in including Florida on their itinerary if they are looking to head to a destination where they can enjoy plenty of fun and outdoor activities.
Jo Eckersley, UK public relations officer for Central Florida Visitors & Convention Bureau, said the region offers outstanding natural beauty.
Attractions such as the Bok Tower Gardens, Fantasy of Flight and Westgate River Ranch could offer parents and children the perfect nature-themed and fun-filled holiday they were looking for.
Ms Eckersley said: "We've got 554 natural freshwater lakes, and they occupy about 135 square miles. It's a bit like a giant equivalent of the UK's Lake District, but with a great sunny climate most of the year.
"There's a vast conservation commitment to wildlife, flora and fauna, with various family and nature-orientated events throughout the year."
Other outdoor activities that families can enjoy in Florida include fishing trips and airboat rides to spot alligators.
