Cricket fans should start planning their Dubai holidays if they hope to cheer on England against Pakistan in the UAE next year.
England's tour consisting of Tests, One-day Internationals (ODI) and Twenty-20 matches begins in January 2012, with the UAE chosen to host the series because the ICC has stopped international teams from touring Pakistan since the attack on a Sri Lanka team bus in 2009.
Dubai is scheduled to host the first Test starting on January 17, although England will play a couple of three-day warm-up games after their arrival on January 3.
The second of three Test matches will be played in Abu Dhabi from January 25 and the final one in Dubai on February 3.
The four-match ODI series will start from February 13 with Abu Dhabi and Dubai hosting two games each.
England will conclude the tour with three Twenty20 matches, which will also give them some preparation for their title defence at the T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka.
