Egypt to host two art exhibitions

Art lovers planning all inclusive holidays to Egypt will no doubt be looking to take advantage of esteemed art exhibitions which are taking place at two commercial galleries in Cairo.

Tache Art Gallery at Designopolis and Al Masar Gallery in Zamalek are hosting exhibitions, demonstrating the work of artists involved in Egypt's contemporary art scene.

The show at Tache, which is titled "The Contemporaries", will run until September 10, displaying works of famous artists including Mohammed Abla, Nazli Madkour, Siwi and Askalany.

The installation, which portrays subjects that vary between landscapes and figural representations, is aimed at illustrating the different possibilities of interpretation and defining the contemporary art scene in Egypt.

The exhibition at Al Masar Gallery is titled "Contemporary Views IV: Figurative Practice". These works will be on display until September 25.
