An Egyptian film festival will bring together filmmakers from 30
different African nations, Ahram Online has reported.
The Luxor African Film Festival is a new venture, organised by the
Independent Shabab Foundation, that intends to deepen humanitarian and
political ties between the various participating countries, including
South Africa, Morocco, Sudan and Ghana.
Experts will also be on hand to offer advice to local young filmmakers
hoping to break into the film industry.
The festival will offer an interesting insight into the continent for
people taking Egypt holidays during the last week of February. The country
offers a range of luxury holidays that provide plenty of opportunities
for historical and cultural sightseeing.
The festival will take place between February 21 and 28.
