Families on Dubai holidays this September can enjoy an extravagant five-day shopping fair at the one of the city's most popular venues.
Shoppiesta will be organised in Meydan by event management company Citron Communications and is one of the many events held as part of the official "Eid in Dubai" celebrations.
Leading brands and retailers will set up stalls at the consumer fair, which takes place during one of the most important religious celebrations for Muslims.
Besides shopping and dining at the food courts, visitors can enjoy a wide range of entertainment events, concerts, exhibitions and adventure sport activities during the five-day event.
Eid in Dubai is an initiative of the emirate's government agency, the Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment (DEPE).
Shoppiesta director Radhesh Menon said their aim is to turn the annual event into a "must-visit attraction during the Eid Al-Fitr holidays".
"As Shoppiesta is planned to be a 'Consumer Fair' where there is something for the entire family, it is ideal for the festive atmosphere that 'Eid in Dubai' creates," he said.
