Dubai International Airport witnessed a 7.8% rise in passenger traffic
during the period from January to November in 2011, it confirmed.

November passenger numbers alone rose to 4,431,673, up 8.9% compared to
the 4,070,296 recorded during the same month in 2010.

A greater number of tourists taking Dubai holidays are also adding to the passenger traffic growth
in the emirate.

Last month, the AGCC recorded the highest rise in total passenger
numbers (+134,491), followed by South Asia (+77,375) Russia and the CIS
(+69,786 passengers), and Western Europe (+48,830 passengers).

As a result of the impact from the Arab Spring, the contraction in
traffic on Middle Eastern routes continued in November.

Jamal Al Hai, Executive Senior Vice President, International Affairs and
Communications, Dubai Airports has described DXB's performance
throughout the year as satisfactory.

He said: "Considering that we have had an average monthly traffic of 4.2
million passengers in the first eleven months of 2011, we are well on
track to surpass the historical figure of 50 million in annual traffic
this year."

People taking luxury holidays to Dubai can visit attractions such as
Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall and Burj al Arab hotel.
