People planning to embark on Dubai holidays to celebrate New Year Eve can expect to have a more comfortable travelling experience in the city, as more transport is being laid on.
According to the state's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in order to make it easier of people to hop between several new year events happening in the emirate, it is set to run a non-stop 24 hour Metro service.
Additionally, the frequency of buses and taxis will be increased.
Ramadan Abdullah, director of Metro operations at the RTA said: "We took this decision to streamline the traffic and ease the flow of people to and from the main centre of celebrations, which is Burj Khalifa."
Dubai, known for its extravagance, could be an ideal destination for travellers looking for luxury holidays.
