Airport shopping will be much easier for travellers planning Dubai holidays, thanks to a new pre-paid card.
The DBX Connect card - developed by Dubai Airport, Dubai Duty Free and
MasterCard Worldwide - will enable tourists to shop and purchase goods
in the local currency, Dirham, while at the airport.
The card will also give them the opportunity to enjoy various discounts
and attractive sales at the duty free shops, as well as at a few noted
hotels.
Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airport, said: "Our goal is to continually
find innovative ways to create a uniquely positive and memorable service
experience for our passengers."
