Dubai International Airport handled over four million passengers in August, up 0.8% compared with the corresponding period in 2010, according to new figures.
Dubai Airports said passenger traffic was topping four million for the eighth month, highlighting the increasing number of people choosing luxury holidays in the emirate.
Figures show an 8% year-on-year increase in the year-to-date traffic.
Dubai holidays are proving popular among global tourists, with an increase in the number of passengers from Saudi Arabia, the US and Bangladesh.
