Tourists taking Hawaiian holidays may be interested in trying out Courtyard's new King Kamehameha's Kona Beach hotel, located in Kailua-Kona village on the Big Island.
The hotel was rebranded a Courtyard by Marriott International following a two-year, $35 million (£22.6m) renovation.
Janis Milham, vice president and global brand manager of Courtyard, said: "We are excited to welcome this new landmark into the Courtyard family.
"As a prime leisure destination, this new hotel offers our guests a unique experience steeped in rich history and surrounded by Hawaii's natural beauty."
The new Courtyard hotel's renovated rooms boast a private lanai, or terrace, offering a breathtaking view of Kona's white sand beach.
The rooms are equipped with deluxe bedding, a flat-screen television, a spacious work desk, complimentary high-speed wireless internet and laptop size safe.
