Tourists going on Thailand holidays may be interested in participating in the Amari Midnight Run, which will be held in Bangkok on October 8.
The race, which is in its 14th year now, offers participants a choice of two distances - 6km or 12km.
The city streets will be closed, but those running along the race route at midnight will be supported by people crowds of people lining the road.
A trophy will be awarded to the runner who crosses the finish line first. A T-shirt will be gifted to all participants.
To take part in the race, people will have to pay an entry fee of 300 baht (£6.18).
For 1,000 baht (£21), participants will be entered into a prize draw and stand a chance of winning airline tickets for international flights.
The event could encourage travellers who love to run to consider going on all inclusive holidays to Thailand.
