The fifth edition of Sunyang Eco-Healing Seychelles Marathon will be
held in the island nation in February.
The Eco-Healing Seychelles, which attracts enthusiasts from all over the
world, is the brainchild of Dong Chang Jeong, Seychelles Honorary Consul
General for South Korea and head of the Seychelles Tourist Office in
Korea.
The annual event that started in 2008 and attracted 330 participants was
aimed to contribute to Seychellois' health and to unify Seychellois and
visitors.
People planning to take Seychelles holidays can witness the event which will take place
on February 26.
In addition to several hundred local enthusiasts running in the
marathon, the island is expecting to receive some 300 overseas
participants.
The marathon is also aimed at raising the profile of the Seychelles
brand around the world.
Tourists interested to take luxury holidays to Seychelles can visit Beau
Vallon during the early hours on the day, as runners will set off at
7am, covering the Northern and North Western areas of the main island of
Mahe and its capital, Victoria.
