Switzerland holidays could become more popular among tourists from across the world after it was revealed that there are over 450 sun terraces in the country's mountain restaurants.
The total number of mountain restaurant terraces in the country was announced by Switzerland Tourism.
A spokesperson for the national tourism body in Switzerland said: "Yes, we counted them. With nearly 500 picture-perfect sun terraces at our world-famous mountain restaurants and huts located right on the piste, they make the perfect place to relax and enjoy the view."
Travellers taking luxury holidays in Switzerland can also head to Zermatt, where they can enjoy skiing in Europe's highest pistes.
According to Switzerland Tourism, Davos' Jatzhütte 2530m, with its high-mountain outdoor hot tub, is one place that could especially attract holidaymakers.
