Tropical Storm Maria

Update: 15 September 2011

Tropical Storm Maria is due to strengthen today to a Category 1 hurricane as it approaches Bermuda. BA have cancelled their flights for today inbound and outbound.

Kuoni’s Operations team have contacted and rebooked passengers due to travel outbound and inbound to Bermuda today.

The hurricane is predicted to pass some distance from Bermuda and as such we are hoping it will not cause any major damage or disruption other than the flights. It is hoped that by tomorrow things will be back to normal.

Normal booking conditions will apply to all holidays departing from Friday 16 September.

The Kuoni Operations team along with the Federation of Tour Operators (FTO) and Kuoni’s local agents, will continue to monitor Maria closely and will take all necessary action to ensure clients safety.
