The Foreign Office have updated their advice for Mumbai in light of the recent attacks advising against non essential travel to Mumbai until further notice:

KUONI POLICY
Kuoni has passengers in India that are due to transit via Mumbai airport. At this time as the airport remains open and flights operating normally, they will continue to transit as booked. There are currently no Kuoni passengers in Mumbai.

The Kuoni UK operations team, duty officer and local representatives in resort in line with the Foreign Office Advice and in conjunction with ABTA/Federation of Tour Operators are continually monitoring the situation. There will be no further updates.

The Foreign Office have updated their advice for Mumbai in light of the recent attacks advising against non essential travel to Mumbai until further notice:

Gunmen have carried out a series of coordinated attacks across the city of Mumbai. Several high profile locations were hit in India’s financial capital, including two five star hotels, one of those hotels being the Taj Mahal Hotel, where it is understood that the siege has now ended.

KUONI POLICY
Kuoni had 4 passengers in Mumbai yesterday who were due to be staying at the Taj Mahal Hotel. Clients were diverted and taken to an alternative hotel. Kuoni’s duty officer has spoken with these clients who are safe and well.

Kuoni has passengers in India that are due to transit via Mumbai airport. At this time as the airport remains open and flights operating normally, they will continue to transit as booked.

The Kuoni Operations team are pro actively contacting clients due to stay in Mumbai in the coming week on a rolling basis and offering assistance with rebooking an alternative holiday with no amendment fee.

The Kuoni UK operations team, duty officer and local representatives in resort in line with the Foreign Office Advice and in conjunction with ABTA/Federation of Tour Operators are continually monitoring the situation and will provide updates on an on going basis.
