World Class 2009 brochure released

Presenting Kuoni World Class 2009 brochure by designer Herbert Winkler with art by Douglas Busch, featuring six new countries and fifty new travel experiences ranging from boutique hideaways to exclusive experiences.

The uniquely designed Kuoni World Class brochure adds an element of surprise with four different cover designs to inspire travel dreams. World Class is all about quality and style, incorporating sensuous modern art photography with some of the very best experiences in the world; displaying the superb range of inspiring luxurious holidays and unforgettable moments.

It captures the sense of freedom, today's luxury consumer is searching for. The new design incorporating art for its aesthetic appeal with a quality portfolio, expresses the true meaning of exclusivity and takes the brand forward into the future with a more contemporary, stylish and emotive feel."

The newly designed brochure features an exciting range of new destinations, hotels and resorts setting new standards in luxury travel. New destinations added for 2009 include China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Bhutan, St.Barts, Canouan and Hawaii offering clients the very best options to experience cultural and historical treasures, hideaways and barefoot luxury. Superb new properties have been sought to enhance the range. These include the intimate and secluded Cap Maison in St. Lucia, a stylish boutique resort perched on an ocean bluff with views of Martinique; the new Bazara Hotel Zanzibar opening in the Autumn, built in the style of an Arabian Palace with villas featuring private plunge pools; and the soon-to-open Four Seasons Resort at Anahita Sanctuary Mauritius set on the east coast with a fantastic spa, golf course and wonderful dining experiences.

A host of new safaris offering outstanding wilderness experiences are featured including 'Kruger in Style' safari in South Africa, visiting the Ivory Lodge at Lion Sands Game Reserve in the Sabi Sands, each suite including a private deck and pool, open plan bathroom and a separate lounge with fireplace. The suites come with butler service and game drives in safari country. In addition, two new self drives in South Africa have been added, tapping into the demand for independent holidays in this region. The 'Winelands and Cape Town' and the 'Shamwari Game Reserve and the Garden Route' both include five star hotels throughout.

Other tempting highlights include:

  • 50 holidays which are not featured in any other Kuoni brochure, including 32 hotels and 18 tours/experiences
  • Brand new destinations to World Class for 2009 are China and Indochina, Bhutan, St Barts, Canouan in the Caribbean, whilst the USA expands to include the west coast and Hawaii
  • Multi-centre itineraries have increased and there are now 23 options - but any travel experience can be tailor made with Kuoni
  • In addition to a smattering of the most gorgeous hotels located in 37 countries, there are 24 holidays that offer cruising, touring, train journey and even helicopter opportunities
  • 'Boutique and unique' is an expanded theme. Tours in eight countries include accommodation ranging from 50 to just eight rooms
  • Authentic experiences offer exciting opportunities: treks in some of India's finest wildlife/tiger reserves on the Wildlife in Style tour are on elephant back; visits to a number of Bhutan's fascinating Dzongs (temples) and a traditional Bhutanese farmhouse on the 'Glimpses of Bhutan' tour give clients an insight into the lifestyle of local people whilst in Cambodia in Siem Reap, Hotel De Las Paix encourages clients to get involved with local projects

Along with a host of exclusive offers throughout the brochure, clients have access to a UK airport lounge and private transfers in resort are included as standard, and a choice of either valet parking or chauffeur transfers in the UK (within a 50 mile radius) are new benefits for clients booking a holiday of 14 nights or more.
