DAY 1 - LONDON TO VALPARAÍSO
Iberia via Madrid from Heathrow to Santiago, arriving the following day.

DAY 2 - VALPARAÍSO
Upon arrival transfer to Valparaíso and the Hotel Casa Higueras for two nights. Your afternoon is free to explore this historic port town. Tour its historic quarter, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that harks back to late 19th-century globalisation, and see well-preserved elevators (wooden or metal cars) on the steep hillside.


DAY 3 - VALPARAÍSO

Take a half day tour of Valparaiso and neighbouring Viña del Mar. Ride a funicular for breathtaking hilltop views and visit La Sebastiana, the former home of Chilean poet Pablo Neruda where he wrote the works that earned him a Literature Nobel Prize. Today it contains some of his writing and photos, and has lovely views of Valparaiso. Spend the afternoon at leisure.


DAY 4 - VALPARAÍSO TO SANTIAGO

Transfer to Santiago for one night at Atton el Bosque, stop en route for two wine tours in Casablanca  Valley with a wine tasting and lunch. The valley’s cool coastal climate helps it produce Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, and since its wine-growing potential was spotted in the 1980s wineries have sprung up on its landscape.


DAY 5 - SANTIAGO TO MENDOZA
This morning explore Santiago, a metropolis in the shadow of the snow-capped Andes Mountains before travelling through stunning scenery to Mendoza for a two night stay at the Sheraton Mendoza. The following day set off on a full day winery excursion.

DAY 6 - MENDOZA
Mendoza is Argentina's wine capital, with stunning views over rolling vineyards and the Andes. Today set off on a full day winery excursion, learning about how wine is made, having a tasting and enjoying lunch.

DAY 7 - MENDOZA TO SALTA

Fly from Mendoza to Salta for one night at the Legado Mitico Hotel. The rest of your day is free to explore this historic city, which boasts colonial architecture and fascinating museums. Visit the Church and Museum of San Francisco and take in stunning views of the city and the Valley of Lerma from the summit of San Bernardo Hill.


DAY 8 - SALTA TO CACHI

Journey to Cachi, a beautiful hillside town with white buildings, paved streets and remnants of its 18th Century colonial past.


DAY 9 - CACHI TO CAFAYATE

Transfer to Cafayate, a lively village and an important wine-growing region located in the Calchaquí Valleys, visiting a vineyard en route.


DAY 10 - CAFAYATE TO BUENOS AIRES

Fly from Salta to Buenos Aires for two nights. Transfer to the Emperador Hotel.


DAY 11 - BUENOS AIRES

Take a half day city tour of Buenos Aires, visiting landmarks including the Plaza de Mayo historical complex, Avenida de Mayo with its late 19th-century buildings, the imposing National Congress, the old quarters, 9th July Avenue’s famous obelisk, La Recoleta’s French architecture and Palermo’s 2,500-acre park. Tonight enjoy a three-course dinner and tango show at a local restaurant.


DAY 12 - BUENOS AIRES TO LONDON

Iberia to London via Madrid, returning the following day.

Fly from Buenos Aires to El Calafate, the gateway city to Argentinian Patagonia, for a two night stay at Los Notros Perito Moreno, the only hotel to overlook the Perito Moreno Glacier.

DAY 14 EL CALAFATE TO PUERTO NATALES
Transfer by road to Puerto Natales (approx 4-5 hours) in Chilean Patagonia where you will stay two nights at Remota.

DAY 15 PUERTO NATALAS TO SANTIAGO
Transfer to Puerto Arenas by road (approx three hours) and then fly to Santiago. Upon arrival transfer to the Atton el Bosque for an overnight stay.
