Kauai holidays

Escape to this idyllic rugged, unspoilt island with Kuoni

The ‘Garden Isle’ of Kauai holds itself gently aloof from the rest of the Hawaiian islands, and can’t be seen from any of them except its mysterious private neighbour Niihau.

A good road circles most of the island but leaves the Na Pali Coast beautifully untouched. You can explore that stretch by foot, boat or helicopter instead.

Kauai hotels.

Kauai holiday highlights
•   See the rugged Waimea Canyon, proudly known as the ‘Grand Canyon of the Pacific’. Created by an earthquake that almost split Kauai into two islands, it's 10 miles long and over 3,500ft deep.
•   Bask in the sun on 50 miles of idyllic white-sand beaches, many of which are great spots to surf and swim.
•   Chase adventure with thrilling activities. You could kayak down Wailua River, go mountain tubing down Lihue’s water flumes, embark on a 4x4 off-road experience or shoot down zip-lines above the rainforest.
