Destination introduction

The provinces of Ontario and Québec cover a great swathe of Eastern Canada and offer boundless opportunities to explore and learn about this fascinating area.

Ontario is home to Toronto, the capital of Ontario and Ottowa, the capital of Canada and is the most populous region of Canada. Northern Ontario is all about the wide open spaces. With vast tracts of forest, peppered by lakes, mountains and canyons it is the complete opposite of the busy and bustling south of Ontario, where Toronto, Niagara Falls can be found.

The province of Québec offers a look into a Canadian city with a truly European feel. Quaint streets, cafe culture and the predominance of the French language give the province an other worldly feel. Most of the population live between Montreal and Québec City whilst the northern half of the province is largely untouched.
