Is in three star hotels, but in remote areas such as National Parks or small towns this standard may not exist and accommodation maybe more simple and rustic. Hotels will be confirmed with final itineraries.

GRATUITIES

Tipping is common practice in Canada. We recommend between 10-15% for waiting staff and barmen and smaller amounts for doormen and porters. For your guide and driver, tip at the end of your holiday.

DAY 1 - TORONTO
On arrival in Toronto, transfer on your own to your hotel for two nights where you will meet your tour escort. The following day, enjoy a morning city tour of Toronto so you can familiarise yourself with the many sights and attractions. The remainder of the day is at leisure for further exploring or shopping at the Eaton Centre.

DAY 3 - MONTREAL
Leave Toronto, following the northern shore of Lake Ontario. Your next stop is the Thousand Islands region where a river cruise is included. Continue on to Montreal for two nights. The next morning enjoy a tour of French speaking Montreal, which boasts a blend of history and modernity. Tour the downtown area including the Olympic Complex, picturesque Old Montreal, Mont Royal and the bustling shopping streets.

DAY 5 - QUEBEC CITY
Depart Montreal this morning for Quebec City. Wind your way through small towns and villages deep in the heart of French Canada. A sightseeing tour of Quebec City is included on arrival, where you will visit highlights including Battlefields Park, the Citadel and the ornate city gates. Enjoy the following day at leisure to explore the sights of this romantic World Heritage Site. Why not book an optional whale watching excursion to Tadoussac returning via spectacular Montmorency Falls.

DAY 7 - OTTAWA
Travel to the nation’s capital, Ottawa for a two night stay. Stop at an authentic sugar shack for lunch. The following morning enjoy the Turtle Island Aboriginal breakfast on Victoria Island followed by a sightseeing tour of the city. See the Parliament Buildings and the residence of the Prime Minister. The afternoon will be free for you to explore the capital on your own. Perhaps visit one of the cities museums and galleries or take a boat cruise

DAY 9 - ALGONQUIN PROVINCIAL PARK
Travel west into the wilderness country of Algonquin Provincial Park. The park covers an area of over 3,000 square miles and has over 2,000 lakes and some amazing wildlife too. Enjoy a walk along the many scenic trails of this magnificent park. Overnight tonight in the town of Midland.

DAY 10 - NIAGARA FALLS
Visit Sainte Marie among the Hurons. This three acre historic site features a detailed reconstruction of the first European inland community in Canada. Later, travel south past Toronto through the orchards and vineyards of the Niagara Peninsula to Niagara Falls. A cruise on the Maid of the Mist boat and is also included.

DAY 11 - TORONTO
Take a ride to the top of the Skylon Tower before visiting the Niagara Winery region en route back to Toronto. Tonight enjoy an unforgettable farewell dinner at the CN Tower with your fellow travellers.

DAY 12 - DEPART
Morning at leisure, before transferring on your own to the airport in time for your onward flight.
