The All Inclusive Tour is accompanied by a local guide from the afternoon of Day 2 to arrival at your beach hotel on Day 7. On beach extensions assistance will be provided by our local representatives.

DAY 1 - LONDON TO COLOMBO
Departure by SriLankan Airlines from Heathrow overnight to Colombo.

DAY 2 - COLOMBO TO SIGIRIYA
On arrival transfer for three nights to the Sigiriya Hotel, Sigiriya in a Standard room (approx. 150 miles, 3½ hours drive).

DAY 3 - SIGIRIYA
After breakfast relax by the pool, enjoy the beautiful hotel gardens or take an optional excursion to the 12th Century Sinhalese capital of Polonnaruwa. Lunch is included back at your hotel, followed by an included visit to Dambulla rock famed for its beautiful mural inscriptions and statues, arguably the finest cave temple in Sri Lanka.

DAY 4 - SIGIRIYA
After breakfast, take an optional excursion to the staggering Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Marvel at the beautiful gardens and ruins of this incredible structure and for the more energetic take the 1,200 steps to the very top, the views are incredible. Lunch is back at your hotel followed by an optional jeep safari to the Minneriya or Kaudulla National park, famed for its wild elephants.

DAY 5 - SIGIRIYA TO KANDY
This morning, leave for the picturesque lakeside town of Kandy, enjoying a visit to a spice garden and Batik factory en route. Stay at the Chaaya Citadel, Kandy (between May09 and Oct05 this will be the Tourmaline Hotel) in a Standard room for two nights. In the afternoon you may wish to relax by the pool. Another of your tour highlights, this evening is an included visit to the celebrated Temple of the Tooth, famed for housing Buddha’s famous tooth relic (approx. 85 miles, 2½ hours drive).

DAY 6 - KANDY
After breakfast, make a morning visit to the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, offering a rich diversity of tropical flowers and shrubs. Lunch is back at your hotel, and in the afternoon don't miss the included city tour of picturesque Kandy.

DAY 7 - KANDY TO BENTOTA
Travel to the Giragama tea plantation, then continue to Pinnawela and the renowned elephant orphanage. A typical Sri Lankan rice and curry lunch will be served at the Elephant Bay affording superb views as you watch the elephants bathing. Thereafter, continue to Bentota and the Club Bentota hotel for five or more nights to relax (approx. 130 miles, 5 hours drive).

DAY 12 - BENTOTA TO LONDON
Transfer back to the airport for your SriLankan Airlines flight to Heathrow, arriving later the same day. Alternatively extend your stay further.

MALDIVES
DAY 12 - KURAMATHI ISLAND RESORT
Transfer back to the airport for your SriLankan Airlines flight to Malé. Continue to Kuramathi Island Resort for seven nights or more in a Garden villa.

DAY 19 - LONDON
Fly SriLankan Airlines direct or via Colombo arriving Heathrow later the same day.

ALTERNATIVE ITINERARY:
ALL INCLUSIVE TOUR & TRINCOMALEE - 10 NIGHTS
Instead of Bentota, continue to the east coast resort of Trincomalee.

DAY 7 - TRINCOMALEE
After lunch, depart for a five-night stay at the four star Chaaya Blue Trincomalee in a Standard room.

DAY 12 - LONDON
Transfer back to the airport for your SriLankan Airlines flight to Heathrow, arriving later the same day. Alternatively, extend your stay further.
