A serene infinity pool forms the focal point of beachfront grounds, set amongst giant boulders, appearing to merge with the turquoise sea. Sustainable Features

•   A fuel pod converts used cooking oil from the resort’s kitchens as well as those of other nearby resorts into bio diesel which now runs the resort’s fleet of diesel vehicles.
•   Turtle nesting surveys are undertaken to help preserve these beautiful animals.
The resort was constructed using natural, indigenous materials mostly supplied by local traders.
•   Banyan Tree’s ‘Seedlings’ initiative aims to improve the long term prospects of communities by building the capacities of young people through entorship programmes, sponsored scholarships and internships.
•   Banyan Tree’s ‘Greening Communities’ programme arranged planting of nearly 50,000 trees between 2006 and 2009 in various countries including Thailand, China, Maldives and Seychelles.

All sessions (except hair and beauty treatments) include 30 minutes calm time which includes a footbath and a herbal drink.
