Arosa holidays

Stunning scenery, extensive hiking and crisp alpine air

The delightful resort of Arosa nestles high up on a sunny terrace in the beautiful Schanfigger Valley and is one of Switzerland's highest villages. Surrounded by majestic mountains, green meadows, sparkling lakes and pine forests, Arosa boasts an impressive landscape that is ideal for hiking, rock climbing, horseriding and mountain biking.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of busier resorts, this lovely village has a small selection of shops, delightful cafés and restaurants as well as an array of outdoor activities including guided walks, mountain tours, fishing, lake swimming and boating. Free cable car rides are available for visitors staying overnight at any of the hotels in Arosa.

Arosa Holiday Highlights
•   Enjoy live operas staged in an open-air setting under the stars during July's Arosa Musical Theatre Festival.
•   Play a round of golf in one of Europe's highest 18-golf courses whilst enjoying spectacular alpine views.
•   Enjoy panoramic views of snow-capped mountains in a vertiginous cable car ride to the summit of Weisshorn - Arosa's tallest mountain at 2,653 metres above sea level.
•   Every September the Arosa ClassicCar race attracts thousands of spectators who delight in following the thrilling mountainous track known as the 'Little Monaco of the mountains'.
