A 19th Century villa in lovely gardens, Grotto Giusti’s conversion to a luxurious hotel preserved its historic air and natural charm. There is a summer swimming pool, tennis court and fitness walk within the grounds, but the spa is the star of the show with a modern wellbeing centre with a fitness room and relaxation areas, two open-air thermal-water pools with cascade and hydromassages, and the large ancient Grotto, with steam bath which is celebrating its 160th anniversary this year. The hotel’s La Veranda restaurant serves al fresco lunches in La Pergola terrace or by the swimming pool, and the Bioaquam Café offers healthy express lunches, snacks and herb teas.
