DAY 1 - LONDON TO LAKE GARDA Fly British Airways from Gatwick to Verona airport and journey via private transfer to the Grand Gardone where you will spend four nights. Visit the town's grand villas and gorgeous botanical gardens or follow the many walking paths for panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Visit a range of both peaceful villages and lively towns sitting around the lake's edge including the popular Sirmione or the picturesque Riva in the shadow of Mounte Rocchetta and Monte Brione.DAY 5 - LAKE GARDA TO LAKE MAGGIORELeaving one lake behind travel on to Baveno on the shore of Lake Maggiore. Stay three nights at the Lido Palace. Famous for the restorative properties of it's thermal springs, Baveno has been a fashionable resort since the 10th century. Explore the historic Parrocchiale of St. Gervasio and St. Protaso with its Romanesque bell tower and witness the lavish 19th century villas. Lake Maggiore is home to the three enchanting Borromean Islands and is often called the most scenic of the Italian lakes dotted with towns such as Stresa, boasting beautiful gardens and villas and Pallenza with its historic centre lined with ancient streets and period buildings.DAY 8 - LAKE MAGGIORE TO LONDONLeave Baverno and travel to Milan's Malpersa Aiport.
