Cairns Experience

Gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and the countless other wonders, Cairns is a vibrant action-packed city and a must on any first time itinerary to Australia.

Based on 3 star accommodation including breakfast, transfers, Outer Barrier Reef Full Day Cruise and Daintree and Crocodile Adventure. A choice of 4 and 4.5 star acccommodation is also available.

DAY 1
Transfer by coach to your chosen accommodation for a four night stay. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the city's malls and galleries.

DAY 2
A once in a lifetime trip will take you to explore the iconic Great Barrier Reef. Cruise out to the Marine World Pontoon and experience this fascinating eco-system in a myriad of ways for swimmers and non-swimmers alike. Join a guided marine snorkel tour, introductory or Certified dive, or explore in the comfort of a semi-submersible or in the underwater observatory.

DAY 3
After breakfast head enjoy an Eco-tourism certified tour to the Daintree River. Enjoy a cruise on the river itself spotting the intimidating crocodiles that sun themselves on the river banks or swiftly slip along just under the surface of the water and look out in the mangroves that line the river to try and catch a glimpse their surprisingly adorable offspring. Following the cruise visit the Daintree village and timber museum. After a Barramundi lunch and tropical fruit tasting join a guided rainforest walk before a tour of Port Douglas and a visit to Hartley's Creek Crocodile Adventure.

DAY 4
Enjoy a day at leisure, either to relax, explore the city, hit the shops or perhaps join another of our exciting tours.

DAY 5
Transfer back to the airport.
