Heron Island

A true coral cay, with sugar sands, crystal clear waters and acres of brilliant coral brimming with marine life, this World Heritage listed Marine National park is a natural paradise, perfectly appealing to both children and adults.

Accommodation

109 rooms, each with ceiling fan, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and shower.
Turtle rooms have garden views.
Turtle family rooms are closer to the beach and facilities including the pool.
Reef rooms are set close to the jetty and the Marine Centre and they offer water views through a canopy of trees.
Reef family rooms also feature a living area and day beds.
Heron beachside suites boast a spacious bedroom, separate living area, day beds, CD player, direct beach access and stunning views over the reef.

Aborigine art is available in all major cities at every conceivable price. Shops selling duty-free goods are available so it’s worth looking at radios, photographic and electrical equipment, as well as clothes and perfumes. Your passport and ongoing ticket will prove that you’re eligible for duty-free although not always asked for. Souvenirs include the cuddly koala, boomerangs and the  Australian wide brimmed hat.
