DAY 1On arrival in Melbourne you will be transferred by coach to your hotel with the remainder of the day free to explore this exciting city.
DAY 2 Your morning is at leisure to explore before departing for Phillip Island this afternoon. En route, visit Warrook, a cattle farm in the Gippsland region, and the Koala Conservation Centre. Wander through the trees on an elevated walkway keeping your eyes peeled for koalas lolling around on the branches. Stop off at Nobbies, also known as Seal Rocks and spot the marine wildlife that gather here, including a colony of Fur Seals. As you wander along the boardwalks look down as you may catch a glimpse of a small number of Little Penguins that nest under the walkways. On Phillip Island, visit the Education Centre before witnessing the natural marvel that is the magical Penguin Parade. Watch as these penguins, that are approximately only 30cm tall, battle against the surf and their rather paranoid instincts to make the journey over the beach and up to their waiting mates and nests.
DAY 3 Spend this morning enjoying a tour of the sights of Melbourne that include Captain Cook's Cottage, Queen Victoria Market, Fitzroy Garden and Albert Park - home to the Australian Formula One race. Take in the modern and bustling Southbank with numerous restaurants and entertainment options. The afternoon is at leisure to further explore the city.
DAY 4 Transfer back to the airport in time for your onward flight.
