Ras al Khaimah holidays

Discover this diverse emirate's history

Ras Al Khaimah is the northernmost emirate, nestled between the Hajar Mountains on the east and the Arabian Gulf on the west. It's steeped in history dating back to 5,000BC, with archeological finds including forts and abandoned villages.

The city of Ras Al Khaimah is the emirate's capital and is divided into two parts by a creek. The western part, Old Ras Al Khaimah, is home to some great shopping malls, while the eastern part, Al Nakheel, is where you can browse markets.
