ESCORTED SMALL GROUP TOUR
Highlights of Oman is escorted from your arrival in Muscat on Day 1 to your departure from Muscat Day 8by an English speaking guide.

MEAL PLAN
• Prices include breakfast throughout and dinner is included in Wahiba Sands. A picnic lunch is included on Days 4 and 6.

ACCOMMODATION
• Is in four star hotels.

MINIMUM NUMBERS
• This private tour is subject to a minimum of 2 passengers.

GRATUITIES
• Tipping is recommended for the guide, driver and in hotels and restaurants however, this is at your discretion.

TRAVEL TIPS
• You are advised to bring a sun hat and sunglasses as well as a wrap or light jacket, as it can be quite cool at night. Modest dress is recommended for women. To enter the Grand Mosque men must wear long trousers and a collared shirt or t-shirt. Women must cover their head and body, including ankles and wrists.

DAY 1 - LONDON TO MUSCAT
Oman Air flight from Heathrow to Muscat arriving the following day. On arrival transfer to the Park Inn or similar for two nights.

DAY 3 - MUSCAT
This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of Muscat including a visit to the imperial architectural masterpiece of Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque (closed Fridays). Afternoon at leisure.

DAY 4 - MUSCAT TO NAKHL
Depart after breakfast and drive to Rustaq, famous for its hot water springs and there is a photo stop at the Al Hazm Fort. Continue to Nakhl, which has the highest fort in Oman. Proceed to Al Thowara Oasis where you can witness the source of the natural springs and enjoy a picnic lunch. Overnight at Al Sawadi Beach Resort or similar.

DAY 5 - NAKHL TO NIZWA
Morning drive to Nizwa and visit the fort which has been strategically built on top of a hill overlooking the ancient and bustling market below. From here proceed to Jabreen Castle, the finest of Oman’s castles built during the late 17th Century. Return to Nizwa and stop at the Bahla Fort and the Oasis of Tanuf. Optional lunch can be arranged in a traditional local restaurant in Nizwa. Overnight at the Golden Tulip Hotel or similar.

DAY 6 - NIZWA TO WAHIBA SANDS
Depart for the oasis of Wadi Bani Khalid. A picnic lunch is provided before an exhilarating round of dune driving in a four-wheel drive. In the evening enjoy a traditional Arabic dinner and overnight in a traditional Bedouin tented camp in Wahiba Sands (the only one of its kind in the area) and enjoy a peaceful night under the stars. Overnight at Arabian Oryx Camp.

DAY 7 - WAHIBA SANDS TO MUSCAT
After breakfast at the camp return to Muscat via an off-road route. Visiting the Bimah Sinkhole and passing through the village of Quriyate, guarded by its 18th Century fort. An optional Sunset Cruise in Muscat can be arranged locally (at additional charge). Overnight at the Park Inn or similar.

DAY 8 - MUSCAT TO LONDON
Day at leisure to relax and unwind before you transfer to the airport for your Oman Air flight to Heathrow. Alternatively you can choose to extend your stay in Muscat, please call for details.

DAY 7
Fly with Oman Air to Malé and on arrival transfer by boat to Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa and a Deluxe room or your chosen resort for four or more nights.

DAY 11
Fly Oman Air via Muscat to Heathrow arriving later the same day.
