The Eastern Himalayas is a multifarious corner of India, home to hill stations, tea plantations and alpine meadows. The region contains an incredible amount of flora and fauna with a spectacular 750 species of bird, many not found anywhere else in the world. It is also home to elusive endangered animals including the red panda and Tibetan blue bear. The area encompasses an enormous landscape across India, Nepal and Bhutan and includes the world’s highest peak, the majestic Everest.
