Windamere Hotel, Darjeeling

An air of aristocracy permeates this delightful heritage hotel converted from the boarding accommodation of English and Scottish tea planters to one of the most popular hotels in Darljeeling.

Accommodation

The 38 rooms are housed either in the Windamere wing, which provides a magical taste of how elegant life was lived back in old Darjeeling, and the Snuggery, which is equally gracious but equipped with modern technology. Bathroom fittings were donated to the hotel by the Loreto Convent Girls School, the oldest European school in Darjeeling District, founded in 1846.
